As mentioned in [DIS] Fiber Link: A CKB Fiber-based Pay Layer (Tipping & Micropayments) for Communities - #37 by keith, there are 2 blockages for real-world use from my perspective:
- a wallet with strong Fiber support and good liquidity;
- and a stablecoin that can be on-ramp/off-ramp easily.
And in [DIS] Fiber Link: A CKB Fiber-based Pay Layer (Tipping & Micropayments) for Communities - #39 by keith, it was said for adoption on Nervos Talk, the liquidity of stablecoin won’t be a problem
So clearly the only obstacle for adoption on Nervos Talk is the absence of a good fiber wallet, which is out of our scope.
Then why are we expanding to more platforms before a polished wallet is built? Because our current use case is highly niche and doesn’t rely on a consumer-friendly wallet experience.
Maybe I shouldn’t delete [DIS] Fiber Link: A CKB Fiber-based Pay Layer (Tipping & Micropayments) for Communities - #40 by keith, it suggests that our potential market may be B2B, while the tipping system is more of a byproduct than the core business.
